Pulse Fitness works across the fitness industry to provide 360-degree leisure solutions to a number of leisure centres, gyms, and luxury health clubs.

Most recently, Pulse Fitness has expanded its portfolio even further and installed its market-leading equipment and services at the University of East London gym, providing a much-needed transformation.

The University of East London’s Fitness Centre is a space designed to provide students and local residents with an outlet to relieve stress and conquer their fitness goals.

With a priority placed on Mental Health, the University of East London was looking to update and refurbish its gym space, which hadn’t seen an upgrade in over a decade, while ensuring the University of East London branding remained clear throughout.

The job of the Pulse Fitness team was to transform the University of East London’s gym into an up to date, fully equipped fitness space with a number of pieces of equipment from the Cardiovascular and Strength range. Free weights, Benches and Storage Racks from the Pulse Fitness Functional Accessories line were also added to complete the transformation. Now, the Fitness Centre is a sleek and organised space which maintains the ethos and branding of the University. To conclude the build, the Pulse Fitness team installed a new virtual cycling studio on the gym floor, introducing an innovative experience to gym-goers looking to liven up their cardio routine with both on-demand and live classes.

Select pieces of the Strength stations are equipped with interactive console technology, providing unlimited access to an extensive range of instructional workout videos. The introduction of TRAKK, Pulse Fitness’ connected-fitness app, provides users with a space to record their sessions, log progress and track results as well as receive a full data capture detailing how their workout can be improved to maximise their fitness journey.

“With over 40 years in the industry, Pulse has expertise in delivering leisure solutions for all segments of the market, but we’re delighted to have been able to turn our skills to the education sector once more and help ensure that students have the best possible facilities to look after their wellbeing while at University,” – Chris Johnson, Managing Director of Pulse Fitness.

“Pulse Fitness delivered a dedicated marketing campaign to the University’s 13,500 students, communicating the exciting transformation of our fitness facilities both pre and post launch. It is important to us to encourage our student community to engage with our fitness facilities for the benefits to both their mental and physical health while studying. For that reason, we were looking for communications that appealed to our audience while conveying everything we had on offer, the Pulse team delivered exactly that, within a quick turn around and to a high standard too!” – David Cowell Centre Manager
