At Pulse Fitness, supporting the military community is a core part of who we are – and over recent weeks we’ve had the privilege of attending and sponsoring some incredible Ministry of Defence boxing events across the UK.
Firstly, we attended the RNPTBA Boxing Event with Account Manager Government Services Paul Martin, Phil Campion and guests Scott Welch (Former WBO Champion) and boxing coach Wayne Batten. From pre-weigh-ins to full-on bouts across the Royal Navy, Royal Marines, Army, RAF and civilian clubs, the standard was outstanding.
We then continued our unwavering support for the armed forces by attending the Pilgrims Charity Dinner in Liverpool where we had the honour of joining military heroes, sports icons, TV personalities and even world record holders to raise vital funds for injured veterans. An incredible £75,000 was raised through auctions of SAS, SBS and special forces memorabilia — an unforgettable achievement for a truly worthy cause.
And finally we also attended the Duke of Lancaster’s Regiment Boxing Event, where our Managing Director Chris Johnson joined Brand Ambassador Phil Campion and the team for a brilliant night of action ,13 thrilling bouts, a superb atmosphere and amazing hospitality. We were proud to stand alongside military boxing talent with special guest appearances from boxing legends Tony Bellew and Hughie Fury.
At Pulse we are proud to stand with those who serve. Supporting the health, fitness and resilience of our forces isn’t just what we do, its something that we believe in wholeheartedly.
